The third day of skiing wasn't anything much spectacular - partly cloudy
weather and very bad snow. Here we are on after ski, having sasliks for
lunch. They were excellent and cost only like 2e.

Here's what happens when a Russian bench breaks down and an French person
attempts to fix it.

In the evening, as we sat at the cats (there was a bunch of these kittens
in a box at the ounge of our lodge where we used to sit everynight --
see Toni's
pictures), we noticed the mountain side was in flames. No idea what
started it.

Went to bed about 2030.

The 4th skiing day, taking a break at the middle station. Still very bad snow
the whole day. It was snowing/raining the whole day. Did 4 runs today.

Not to get too bored, we asked Liza to organize a sauna for us. It was in an
old (everything in Russia is old, weary, or just broken down) hotel in
the basement. It cost 800 rubles (23e) -- I was a bit surprised.

Russian quality housing.

We had some time before the sauna, so we wandered in Terskol, looking
for drinks.

Here's the gate to the "Terskol Mall" :-) Welcoming, ain't it.

Samu's idea of a beer cooler with the shower. No, not this way!

Instead they could've been thrown into the "swimming pools". Ye gods..
I just have wonder how come the Russians are SO BAD in building quite
anything. The pools were like 1.5 by 2.5 meters, 1.5m deep and the water
was freezing and lacked any circulation.

Instead of towels we were handed bed sheets. After wondering for a while,
Samu decided it was time to make a toga out of it.
