Toni and our watchdog.
Samu making one of his educational films.
Our lodge's backyard.
Today we left for Mt. Cheget for a change. Cheget is located across the valley. It was (and had been) constantly snowing the whole morning.
There were enoumously snow up there, over a meter in places.
The weather was bad at first, but the snow was good and skiing felt great. Gradially it started to clear up, and the sun came out at times. We did 8 (short) runs today, the most the whole week!

Cafe a la Cheget.
Cheget lift safety. These babies didn't even have the safety gear in the front of you.
The conditions changed swiftly, and it went from cloydy to foggy to sunny in less than 5 minutes.
Samu going fast again.
Samu after quick stop again.
The Cheget middle station's round cafe. A good selection and decent service.
And a classic samovar which, I was told, produced the best tea of the week.
Friendly Russians who offered us bread and vegetables.
Building a ramp with the avalanche showels. The sun was blazing through the thin clouds and my neck burned bad.
Jukka doing weird jumps with no poles. Damn shame the ramp was too low and the weather wasn't that great.
Toni's turn..
After jumping the weather started getting very bad and we escaped back to the cafe. Me and jukka had sour cream/roe sandwiches for lunch.
In the evening we celebrated the great day by going out to Asau in the usual lunch/after ski bar.
Our lodge was once again out of beer so we bought enough from the bar.
Back at the lodge things got a bit out of hand and we drifted into a 20-beers-and-3-bottles-of-vodka -frenzy.
A Russian person I selected as my victim for an 1-hour-long mumble with topic in the lines of have-you-heard-of-finnish-black metal-band-called-impaled-nazarene.. long story. Went asleep somewhere around 0030.
