In train, waiting for the restaurant car to open up.
Waiting in the Pullman's pub in the Helsinki train Station for the departure. From left: Jukka, Samu, Toni, Matti, Heikki.
And finally it did. Good food, good prices. The restaurant (pectopah!!) closed at some point for an hour or so, but reopened once we crossed the border. Had to open up all luggage and all.
Sleepy samu at 2AM or so.
When we arrived to Moscow It was about 0820 and I was feeling pretty strange, both from all the pivo and the little sleep we got.. Jukka's here as we were going to the airport..
..to drop off our luggage. We'd then return to Moscow and spend the day there.
First we had lunch, with Sergey accompanying us (on the right). After lunch, Heikki left with Sergey to sleep at his place, as he had caught some weird illness from the train food (??) and wasn't feeling very good.
Arriving to the Red Square. The weather was moist but there was no rain anymore.
Jukka had little interest in the square so he played some N-Gage. :)
After a lengthy walk we finally went in for drinks. This bar had a Cannibal Corpse (!) flag hanging over the bar for some reason. The bartender had no idea what it was for ;)
Stuff you can do with The Beer. (by: Toni)
The mood was picking up as we left for the airport again. We had had some 10 hours to kill in Moscow.
We were 35minutes late from the appointment with Sergey as we got slightly lost, but made the airport bus nonetheless.
The airline was called ELBRUS-AVIA. How convenient.
Arrived to Nalchik. Man it was warm there. Had to lose the jacket.
We bought a bunch of stuff (beer, food, water) from this small shop and then headed out into the night with our minibus. The trip to Terskol, Elbrus, took some 2 hours and we arrived a bit after midnight or so.
We had some tea, biscuits, beer, cognac and vodka as quick supper.
For some, the quick supper lasted until 5AM. Jukka "pullat Ullassa" Loukkaanhuhta demonstrated the correct couch sleeping posture.
