Leticia and Quito
After we finished the jungle tour it was time to move forward. The next destination was Quito in Ecuador. As the airline having direct flights from Manaus to Quito went bankrupt over a year before, we had to find an alternative route. Options were limited, either go back to Sao Paolo and fly from there (very costly) or fly to Tabatinga and try to get a flight from there. Tabatinga (our choice) is the Brazilian side of the border town and Leticia is the Colombian side. From Leticia we got flights to Quito via Bogota and Panama.

Inti Nan museum at the actual equator. Here you can see water leaving the sink without any circling and also make an egg stand on a nail.

The main tourist attraction "Mitad del Mundo" built by French people. Unfortunately it is 240 meters missplaced.
